This residential development in Evans Bay in Wellington will contain a number of high-level apartments overlooking the Bay.

The 9 metre high cut into the rock face behind provided a few challenges and through working with the client and architect a solution was found where no anchoring across the boundary was necessary.

Three buildings make up the development – Semaphore, Navigator and Helmsman. The larger of the three Semaphore is a steel braced frame with hollowcore floors and prestressed beams.

A café and carpark are also included in the development.
