Latitude 41 is a six-storey apartment building, situated in a prime position on the waterfront in Nelson.

It is a structural steel building with concrete floors acting compositely with the steel beams. Eccentrically braced steel frames provide lateral resistance for wind and earthquake loading.

Immediately behind the building is a very steep hillside, which has been stabilised by sprayed concrete and rock anchoring.

The building has been founded on concrete pads and where required to prevent seismic uplift Titan anchors have been used.
