Overview
Silvester Clark provided the structural design and construction monitoring for Manukura School’s new facilities on the Massey University Campus in Palmerston North. Designed as a high-performance sports campus with a
focus on rugby and netball, the project required integration of both advanced sports features and cultural elements that are central to the school’s identity.
Key structures include modern learning spaces for over 150 students, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, a processional entrance, and various support buildings around the campus. Designed as an Importance Level 3 (IL3) facility with a 50-year design life, the project was crafted to meet Ministry of Education standards,
incorporating essential structural and geotechnical requirements.
