Te Kupenga o Rongomai: Maidstone Sports Hub

Silvester Clark provided the structural design for the new multipurpose sports facility at Maidstone Park. Used by multiple clubs and sports teams, the building features a precast and steel hybrid structure. Our team employed a range of simple and effective design approaches to create large open internal spaces, allowing the facility to reach its full potential.

The project is part of a broader effort to redevelop and transform the park and its amenities. The facility includes a grandstand, new shared clubrooms, flexible multi-use spaces, and a publicly accessible ‘greenroom.’ This space 
also houses a gymnasium with artificial turf flooring, supporting diverse sports and community activities.
