The Verve @ Connolly is a 2 storey health and commercial centre in Lower Hutt, Wellington completed late 2017. It has a building footprint of 1982 sq m.

The structure is composed of circular hollow section for the columns connected to universal beams by external shaped plates. This forms a moment resisting 2-way frame for gravity and lateral load support. The circular hollow sections are concrete filled and the bases are fixed to the foundations to limit building drift in the event of an earthquake. Due to the ground conditions, the structure is founded on timber piles with ground beams interconnecting between pile caps to take out the moment from the fixed column bases. The steel frame solution that Silvester Clark put forward for the design provides a flexible space with large uninterrupted spaces.
