Scott is a Senior Structural Engineer and Associate with Silvester Clark.  He is a Chartered Professional Engineer with 25 years experience as a structural design engineer, principally involved in the design of buildings.  These range from domestic house structures, through low rise commercial and industrial buildings, to multi storey buildings including the 12 storey Farmers Mutual Building in Palmerston North.  Recently Scott has been lead structural designer on two Fonterra milk powder factory towers 45+ m tall being constructed in Darfield, Canterbury.  He has been involved in the seismic assessment of a significant number of buildings around the Manawatu.

Scott has served on the Institution of Professional Engineers (IPENZ) Competence Assessment Board, and is an IPENZ Practice Area Assessor.

Scott has a significant amount of experience in design and build projects with McMillan & Lockwood.  He is familiar with M&L Project management procedures and preferred construction methodologies.
