Cameron first began his engineering career with Stevensons Structural Engineering Ltd in 1991 where he was initially involved with “hands on engineering”, and then was moved into the contract management and administration office. One project with notable involvement was Te Papa, the Museum of New Zealand. Cameron ran the quality control and was the main liaison with the erection teams on site. Cameron was also given the task of writing and implementing the OSH approved documents for Stevensons.

Cameron joined the Silvester Clark Limited team in 1995 as a draughtsman.He has been involved in the draughting of a wide range of different types of structures, and has also had experience in site measuring and site investigations.

Projects include Massey University Maori Studies Department building, Massey University Landcare building, Anchor Te Rapa Cream Processing, Te Rapa Feta building alterations, Anchor Te Rapa dry goods store, Otago Whey Processing, Alpine Dairy Company WMP dryer building, Alpine Dairy Company WPC building, Ranchers (San Angelo, Texas) lamb processing facility, Superior Farms new veal plant (Dixon, California), Superior Farms new stockyard (Dixon California), Sari Husada Dairy (Indonesia) dryer tower, Bega Cheese processing facility (NSW, Australia),  and numerous smaller industrial and commercial projects.

Cameron has been a major player in developing Silvester Clark's structural steel shop drawing capacity and his experience on the shop floor makes a major contribution to Silvester Clark's knowledge.  Cameron is also dedicated to providing the ultimate in customer service and in meeting difficult deadlines.
