This development is built on the site of an existing public carpark. No public carparks were to be lost with the development and access under the building to a retailers loading dock had to be kept operational at all times.
Two storeys of apartments plus one storey of private parking were the end result.
An exposed concrete slab is a feature in the open air courtyard on the top level. Bracing was through wall cladding type bracing on the upper levels and steel channel cross bracing on the lower floors.
